DESCRIPTION:Registration through our website will open March 7\, 2026 at 12:00 noon. All 200 spots will be available when registration opens. One registration per trail vehicle at $200 per ticket. Registrant MUST be a VA4WDA member to attend.\nYour $200 registration will cover camping for 2 nights\, 2 days of wheeling (Saturday and Sunday)\, land use fees\, porta potties\, a trash dumpster\, event insurance and more.\nThis event will ONLY be wheeling! NO meal\, tee shirts\, or raffle! We will have a special event decal to put on your rig with additional decals for purchase.\n\nWe will be welcoming registered guests Friday May 1\, 2026. Check in will be from 2-7pm. Camping will be at the race track.\n\nWe will be stage Saturday at 7am to check in late arrivals\, hold the drivers meeting\, and be on the trails at 8am. Trail riding will conclude on Saturday at 5 pm. Sunday staging at 7 am\, drivers meeting\, and be on the trails at 8 am. Trail riding will conclude on Sunday at 4 pm so everyone can pack up and head home.\n\nThe only times for check in at this event will be Friday from 2 pm to 7 pm\, Saturday from 7 am to 8 am\, and Sunday 7 am to 8 am. If you do not make those check in times\, you will need to stay at camp that day.\n\nA 50/50 raffle will be held during the entire event at check-in benefiting the Nelson County Pantry.

SUMMARY:Earth Day Trail Clean Up 2026
DESCRIPTION:Site Clean Up: Bald Mountain Jeep Trail FS Road 162\, Coal Rd\, Glenwood-Pedlar District\, George Washington National Forest\nDinner provided Saturday night by VA4WDA.\nWe are proud to announce this year’s event with the NFS to give back to our public lands. We will be providing the gloves\, water\, litter pick up tools\, and trash bags. You may bring loppers\, manual trimmers and hand tools. Please also bring your bug spray and your lunch.\nCamping is at no charge if you are staying in our designated area\, William Branch Day Use Area of Sherando Lake Campground. Hard sided campers and RVs are not permitted in this area. You can reserve a site in the main campground if you have a tag camper or RV. (Contact Sandy if you have questions about this.) Hot showers are available. Gate closes at 10pm. Let them know at the gate that you’re with VA4WDA\, and they will give you a pass and directions to our camping area. Our area is secured from Friday morning until Sunday morning. If you plan to trail ride on Sunday\, you must pack up your camp site before taking off for the trails. Again\, we need a head count so be sure to let us know if you plan to join us. We will also be selling extra meal tickets at the event but we would like you to purchase them early so we know how many hungry wheelers we will be feeding.\nAs your registration doesn’t include a t-shirt like other events\, you are encouraged to pre-order your event t-shirt\, sweatshirt\, or hoodie so you will be sure to receive one. We will have a limited number of extra swag to sell at the event but when it’s gone it’s gone.\nThen Saturday night is the big raffle. DESCRIPTION:We are proud to announce this year’s event with the NFS to give back to our public lands. We will be providing the gloves\, water\, litter pick up tools\, and trash bags. You may bring loppers\, manual trimmers and hand tools. Please also bring your bug spray and your lunch.\nCamping is at no charge if you are staying in our designated area\, William Branch Day Use Area of Sherando Lake Campground. Hard sided campers and RVs are not permitted in this area. You can reserve a site in the main campground if you have a tag camper or RV. (Contact Sandy if you have questions about this.) Hot showers are available. Gate closes at 10pm. Let them know at the gate that you’re with VA4WDA\, and they will give you a pass and directions to our camping area. Our area is secured from Friday morning until Sunday morning. If you plan to trail ride on Sunday\, you must pack up your camp site before taking off for the trails. Again\, we need a head count so be sure to let us know if you plan to join us. (VicePresident@va4wda.org or bronco.1995va@gmail.com).\nCamping and dinner at Sherando Lake Campground (94 Sherando Lake Rd\, Lyndhurst\, VA 22952)\, William Branch Day Use Area.\nWe will be working with the NFS and Tread Lightly! to remove litter from the trails\, clear brush and limbs from the trails\, sign installation\, camp site cleanup\, repairing kiosks\, and other tasks.\nLet’s show our support for the land we use by performing some well needed maintenance. SUMMARY:VA4WDA Fall Run
DESCRIPTION:It is that time of year again to get ready to register for the 2022 VA4WDA Fall Run. The registration will open in mid July. There will be 200 open spots and after that there will be a waiting list. This year’s event will take place 15-16 September\, 2023 at Oak Ridge Estate in Lovingston\, Virginia.\nPricing for this year’s event will be the same as the last several year’s events. Even though everything else is going up our will stay the same. We want to provide a quality event at a low price. Pricing is as follows:\n· Event Registration (VA4WDA Member) $110\n· Event Registration (Non-VA4WDA Member) $150\n· Extra Meal $10\n· Children t-shirt $10\n· Adult t-shirt $15\n· Adult Crew neck Sweatshirt $25\n· Adult Hoodie $30\nAs you can see being a member of VA4WDA at $15 a year saves you $40 on the registration. Kinda a no brainer.\nYour registration includes two days of guided trail running\, camping\, and a meal Saturday night before the raffle. Be sure to purchase any extra meals for the rest of your crew at registration. You don’t want to miss out on the great food\, you won’t go away hungry and it will be quality chow. We will also be selling extra meal tickets at the event but we would like you to purchase them early so we know how many hungry wheelers we will be feeding.\nAs your registration doesn’t include a t-shirt like other events\, you are encouraged to pre-order your event t-shirt\, sweatshirt\, or hoodie so you will be sure to receive one. We will have a limited number of extra swag to sell at the event but when it’s gone it’s gone.\nThen Saturday night is the big raffle. Be sure to save some money to purchase your tickets that night to have a chance to win some of the great donations being provided by our Business Members\, sponsors\, and member clubs. If you would like to donate something for this year’s raffle please contact Sandy vicepresident@va4wda.org or Jesse president@va4wda.org.\nThen as in past years\, we will be holding a food drive challenge for the Nelson County Food Pantry. We will be accepting food and cash donations Saturday night prior to the raffle. We will be recognizing the individual and club that donates the most food by weight. One thing to keep in mind\, any individual donations can’t be used by a club in their total. Tom and Doe Lassen have won the individual donation challenge for so many years I can’t remember how many. They even took a donation to the Food Pantry in 2020 because we couldn’t have the Fall Run due to Covid.
