The Rattlesnake Run fire, is 200 acres near West Augusta Virginia, located off Forest Service Road 96 by the Wild Oak Trail in George Washington and Jefferson National Forest, Augusta County.
The Forest Service fire crews are engaging in initial attack with the Virginia Department of Forestry. The Fire is not threatening homes or structures at this time but is producing a smoke column that can be seen from nearby communities and Franklin West Virginia.
